This is an 8 cube, shut off arm controlled replacement ice maker. The item for sale includes the ice maker, wiring harness (pictured above), end cover, and shut off arm (as pictured). This is a replacement for the original unit dated almost 30 years ago. The original harness is hard wired into the motor and can not be transferred to the new ice maker. The wiring harness pictured will have to be cut and spliced(as pictured), adding the thermal fuse, into the older 3 pin connection from the original wiring harness to facilitate power supply. The harnesses are color coordinated and green is the ground making for a fairly simple procedure. Many customers have done this with the expected results and no problems.
